Notes to the teacher:
These Interactive Notebook pieces are DIFFERENTIATED!
Have your students write in the definition in their notebooks, on the lines provided, or have them glue down the pre-written answers (helpful for ESL learners)
Task cards 1-8 ask students to identify similes, 9-16 to identify what is being compared in a metaphor, and 17-24 to differentiate between similes and metaphors. I have also included 12 blank cards for you to print and customize.
