TODDLER TIP: One of our favorite activities is sorting mini erasers! I got this party platter from the Dollar Tree and the fun erasers are from the Target dollar spot. I put one eraser in each section and then let my toddlers sort them by type. It keeps them busy for quite a while! 😍👌

This week's prayer prompt is for PERSEVERANCE.
The verse I have chosen for today is Galatians 6:9 "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." The school year is in full swing and it's normal for teachers to feel burdened, maxed out, or overwhelmed. But we have an Advocate who knows the daily ups and downs we're facing - and He gives us strength!

Pray for perseverance as you continue to invest in your students, day after day. Pray for fresh eyes to see each boy and girl in your class as a beloved child of God. They were each created in God's image. Pray for His love to pour out of you.Pray for perseverance as you continue to plan engaging lessons to meet the various needs of your students. Pray for perseverance as you seek out fresh ideas and stay consistent with your classroom management. I know it's hard. Don't settle for mediocracy because you're tired. You were called to be an excellent teacher! Pray for your students as they develop the character trait of perseverance. Encourage them to keep on keepin' on. Challenge them to work hard, take risks, and fight against the voice telling them to give up or give in. Praise their perseverance when you see it.

Do not give up, dear teachers. The Lord has PROMISED a harvest IF we do not give up. Let's lean on Him today and model perseverance for our students.

Prayers for the Teaching Journey>> GRATITUDE.
Today's Bible passage is from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

Are you modeling an attitude of gratitude to your students?

We have so much to be thankful for - our relationship with Christ, our families, our health, our jobs, the way God has provided (and continues to provide!) for our daily needs. Through the good days and the hard ones, we need to teach our students to stop and look for the good in every day. I pray that during this busy season you will take time to stop and truly thank God for His many good gifts. Through the ups and downs, the mountains and valleys of life, we are commanded to rejoice, pray, and give thanks.

One of my favorite November traditions is to do a "Gratitude to God" Journal - each day my students answer a prompt of one thing/person they're thankful to God for.
